May 14th - May 16th Race Results

We attended our second IHRA event of the year last weekend in Pittsburgh, PA. With the forcast calling for rain we had our fingers crossed hoping not be rained out again. Forturnately the weather held off but we did get the results we were hoping for.
During the three qualifiers on Saturday the motor had a bad stumble on the starting line. This caused us to have poor reation times and a very slow 60 ft. time. We made a few changes to try and find the problem but made little progress. We did manage to run a 7.60 and 7.59 twice. With no time trial scheduled on Sunday morning we went straight into eliminations not sure what to expect. The air was much better so we dialed a 7.55. For some reason the motor sounded and performed flawless. This caused the car to react much quicker than Saturday and put on the red light. THe car also ran a much quicker E.T. , a 7.51 which is almost a full.10 of a second quicker than Saturday.
We will be making a few changes to the fuel system this week and will be attending the Spring Blowout Event at a our home track, Grand Bend Motorplex. This will help us get back on track and prepare us for the IHRA Canadian Nationals in 2 two weeks at Grand Bend.
